On December 2nd, 2017 the Sledge Hockey Experience in partnership with All Sports All People (ASAP) brought the sledge hockey community together to donate sports equipment supporting 12 children with disabilities with what they need to participate in the sport of sledge hockey.

Kevin Rempel, a retired Paralympic Bronze medalist from Team Canada Sledge Hockey, helped lead
the initiative with support from Wade Beebe of ASAP. Their vision is to help eliminate barriers for
families who cannot afford to purchase the sledge hockey equipment and protective gear on
their own, providing custom fitting sleds made for each players specific disability.

The Sledge Hockey Experience is a corporate team building initiative designed to help the able-bodied population experience the sport while better understanding diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias around people who live with disabilities.

All Sports All People is a non-profit organization based in Orillia, Ontario providing inclusive recreation for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Sports include hand cycling, wheelchair basketball, and sledge hockey.

Together we can make a difference for families in need.

Our goal is to help as many kids as possible get involved in a sport they love.

We want to continue to change the lives of children with disabilities.

More exposure leads to more awareness and more impact.

$1000 helps cover expenses for a customized sled, sticks, and hockey gear.
