HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF
CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
In 2017 the Sledge Hockey Experience in partnership with All Sports All People (ASAP) brought the sledge hockey community together to donate equipment supporting 12 children with disabilities.
Their vision is to help eliminate barriers for families who cannot afford to purchase sledge hockey equipment and protective gear on their own, providing custom fitting sleds made for each players specific disability.
We would like to continue this tradition ultimately helping re-establish a local sledge hockey team within the Greater Toronto Area.
The Sledge Hockey Experience is a corporate team building initiative designed to help the able-bodied population experience the sport while better understanding diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias around people who live with disabilities.
All Sports All People is a non-profit organization based in Orillia, Ontario providing inclusive recreation for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Sports include hand cycling, wheelchair basketball, and sledge hockey.
